About us

One Oh One began in 2019, when founder, Rebecca, finished up her postgraduate research into the transition out of education. Having graduated herself back in 2017, Rebecca was already facing some of the challenges of the 'real world': moving back home, trying to find a job, having no time to see friends... Rebecca's research found graduates were more likely to make a successful transition out of University if they had friends going through the same thing, finding comfort in being 'in the same boat'.

So, One Oh One was born - a platform to provide peer support for graduates, sharing experiences, advice, tips, and research. In 2021, with four years having passed since Rebecca graduated from her undergrad degree, and in the middle of a global pandemic, Rebecca worried she'd no longer be able to relate to the experiences of those graduating into this new world. One Oh One then became a space to explore challenges faced by twenty-somethings, also!

Please get in contact if you want to contribute to One Oh One in any way shape or form - see our 'contact us' page for more info.
